I have recently only just got back from my 4 day holiday in Brisbane. The only reason I went was to meet the one and only Derek Landy. Gah it was wonderful! I was shocked when he said he would sign all 9 books I had with me! He is truly amazing and I will never forget that evening. I may of waited 3 hours in line but heck it was DAMN WORTH IT! I was so happy and excited that after he signed the books I asked for a photo with him which he said yes to! Me getting a photo with a famous person! Not to menten a IRISH famous person! My grandma had to keep telling me to breathe while waiting for the funtion to start and us crazed fans to entre. There were some cool people there who dressed up which I though was AWESOME! I don't feel sorry for the people surrounding me for the night at all. I giggled like a crazy school girl which I am. I was so happy and excited and couldn't belive it was my turn to get books signed that I forgot to speak and was standing there, infront of the desk Derek was sitting at, smiling like and lunitic ( that I am). At first Derek called me 'Emily' because that was on a sticky note stuck to a book the people there gave us so Derek can look at it and just write 'To ( whoever the name was)' But I corrected him and he got the second book to sign from me ( out of 9) with a sticky note saying my name 'Miranda'. He was funny. I can't belive I actually met a famous irish person, Derek Landy. KADJSGB,BVHGXMFHlkbjksd I'm so happy I can't stop giggling!!!! xoxo
